Babies from our rattery live all over Colorado, in Wyoming, Kansas, and even South Carolina!  Soon our babies will live in Utah as well!  Thank you to everyone who's adopted from the rattery, past and present! 

Founded in 2003 and located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Shinkelydinks Sunrise Rats is a small rattery committed to breeding the healthiest, happiest pet rats possible.  While we aim to breed rats of show quality, our first concern in breeding is selecting the healthiest and friendliest stock available.  We are currently specializing in developing a nice marked american blue line.  We are the only rattery in Colorado currently selecting for lighter shades of sky and powder blue.  We are working with a line of black-eyed siamese and burmese rats in self markings as well.  In the near future, we hope to establish a mink-based line of rats in self markings as well.

Every DINK rat is a pet first. Health, temperment, and quality will always come before quantity. For this reason, we only breed when we feel that there is adequate time to properly socialize a litter, and only when we feel that the babies we produce will be healthy and long-lived rats that will improve the fancy as a whole.
