I've been an animal lover my entire life, and a rat lover for all of my adult life.  I am a professional dog trainer and a full time student, but the rest of my time is devoted to my passion--my pets.  I have four wonderful dogs, three fantastic cats, a bearded dragon, recently a severe macaw, soon to be a blue crown conure, and of course the rats!  See pictures of some of the animals below.

This is Velcro Dog!  Vel is a gigantic baby, and loves to give the rats tongue baths! 

This is Jasper!  Jasper's the old man at the house.  He thinks it's his job to keep everyone in line.

This is Schneeflocke (but we just call her Flocke).  She's not the brightest crayon in the box, but what she lacks in smarts she makes up for in personality!

Basel's the baby of the bunch!  Basel is an avid hiker, and also enjoys going to his great-grandma's house to have play dates with her cat!  Even though he's full of spunk, Basel is very gentle with the ratties.

This is Goose!  Goose is a Severe Macaw!  Goose came into the pet store where I work when he was a baby, and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to hand feed and bond with Goose.  After being at the store for eight months, Goose was sold on my day off... I never saw him again, until I came across an ad on craigslist.  I'm happy to say that Goose and I have been re-united after five years apart, and are thrilled to have the opportunity to reestablish our relationship!
